Courtney is a seasoned film distribution and marketing executive with 28 years experience in the dynamic world of the screen industry. Her multifaceted career spans across development, production, distribution, and exhibition, showcasing her versatile expertise. Having made significant contributions to renowned film outfits such as Roadshow Films, Transmission Films, the National Film and Sounds Archive of Australia, Bunya Productions, Kismet, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Courtney has left an indelible mark on the global film landscape. Her forward-thinking approach positions her as a key player in adapting to the evolving landscape of film consumption.

Courtney is the recipient of the 2015 Natalie Miller Fellowship, a prestigious accolade that recognizes her as a trailblazer and a next-generation female leader in the Australian screen community. As the former director of The Goodship Agency, Courtney pioneered services for independent filmmakers, exploring innovative pathways in film financing and distribution.
